  1. Have you tried the CRO Absent Voters lists to find the number of he's M.T. Coy? M2/082040 is within a run of numbers when about 40 605th M.T. Coy RASC men drowned due to the SS Citta Di Palermo hitting a mine (Brindisi, Italy to Durazzo, Albania ?) on the 8th January 1916. Obviously that does not mean Frank G Rumming was aboard. On [CWGC] site read historical notes for Haidar Pasha Cemetery, Turkey.
  2. Exodus/POW's/Airmen Plane crashed 9th May 1945. I now have most of the servicemen's records (excludes Guards/PALs/RCAF) and five POW records from the Red Cross, Geneva. Also I have recorded half of the relevant Battalion's war diaries. I have researched their parents and siblings. Health permitting, I intend to visit the cemetery on the 70th anniversary [Paris day-trip]. Any families who have connections to the above, perhaps we could exchange information? Regards, Bob
  3. Hi, I'm retired and as a hobby, have researched WW1 and WW2 events land, sea and air for many years. Most of my research is based on local history/people.
