Spotted today....

M1 J23 north 1600hr today low loader carrying a bright yellow Scammell Pioneer recovery in good order & an old dump truck, possibly ex military but was distracted by the Pioneer.

Saw them earlier in the day, probably A34n. The tipper looked to be 'Hoveringham' orange, possibly another Scammell.

why are front loaders sometimes parked with the bucket used as a jack to lift up front end of vehicle? Usually with Hydraulic machines they tell you to release pressure in Hydraulic systems when not in use.

 

Only ever done it myself when using the shovel to scrape ice off a yard, like you say - never parked one like this before for the reason you mention
