Rick W
Not sure on the identity of these, but could that possibly be a Morris radio truck in the first pic on the left? CS8?
woa2
Morris Commercial yes, but it looks like a PU model with a radio body. The next is a British Dodge 8cwt followed by a possible Bedford QL with a Command body, not the normal radio body.
antarmike
Sicily 1943 Servicing Commandos and Signals units of the RAF land on the south East tip of Sicily shortly after the the 8th Army on 10th July 1943 The commandos worked alongside Royal Engineers to rebuild the Airfield at Pachino, that had been ploughed up to deny its use to the British, but Spitfires were operating out of it just three days after this picture was taken. I own a Matador, but I am still not 100% what the vehicle is. Something doesn't look quite right??? Looks a bit Crossley to me???? No Signals
I own a Matador, but I am still not 100% what the vehicle is. Something doesn't look quite right??? Looks a bit Crossley to me???? I'd agree with that it looks more Crossley. Dont have your range of pics to refer to, or your experience of the marque but the cab appears to have that cuving out fillet bracket above the mirrors leading up to the cab top which Crossleys seem to have but does not appear to be seen on any of the Matador pics that I have got access to. Windows seem to be shallower too, as is the case in the Crossley pics I have.
les freathy
Certainly a Crossley Q, looking at the rear it could be a workshop conversion on a GStender
Tony B
Dodge at the top looks like the botom picture. Anyone fully identify? Appears to be a half ton VC

john wheatley (R.I.P.)
in Rick's picture of the vehicles the white circular object third from left looks like an ornamental fountain to me. Regards, John.
Tony B
Cheers Hanno! That is one of the pictures I got from the Bovington Tank Museum.
gazzaw
Hehe that second picture of the 1st posting must be a contender for a caption competition elsewhere on the forum. What are the guys up to, some sort of formation dancing or exercise routine? Either that or they have lost two rolls of lino from under their armpits- maybe ladyboy drivers, now I am getting ridiculous.....
