steptoe Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 My name is Steve and I would like to take this oppertunity to say "Hello", I'm a new member with a healthy interest in military vehicles. I have a FV432 which brings a lot of fun and interesting stories from ex service men, and help raise money for charity with involvement such as "ladies driving challenges"!!! Quote
abn deuce Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 please feel free to post photo's of your HMV and even if those include a few turrett tottie hotties I m sure the other members will understand and will be more interested in the Vehicle than the Ladies Quote
6 X 6 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I have a FV432 which brings a lot of fun and interesting stories from ex service men. Welcome to the forum Steve. I've learnt so much from talking to ex servicemen. It usually starts, "I drove one just like that". Great stuff ! It would be nice to see a few 'photos of your MV posted on the forum when you have the time. Cheers. Quote
Snapper Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Welcome to the Friendly Forum. Another 432! You'll have a little difficulty finding space in the clubhouse car park, it is always full of Scammells, but it won't stop you getting to the bar. Have fun. MB Quote
gritineye Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Hi Steve, don't worry about the Scammells, they're quite friendly, just make sure you pull up in time to miss the Stolly pond, those Explorers prefer not to get their winch ropes wet. Quote
steptoe Posted March 2, 2009 Author Posted March 2, 2009 Thank you for the warm welcome! This coming weekend we're taking the 432 to a Vietnam day at a paint ball site! Hmmm! I'm just hoping who ever's there will be short sighted and a bad shot! I'll try and take some interesting photo's to share. Just incase anyone knows, I'm on the lookout for a fuel cutoff solenoid, 3 terminal type K60 engine. Cheers for now Steve Quote
Joris Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Howdy and welcome to the clubhouse. Please park your FV432 with the rest of the PW vehicles so it does not clutter up the WWII section. Also, if you have time, Jacks GMC needs a push I've heard he's stuck in the mud somewhere with a dead battery. PW to the rescue! Quote
Metroman Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Welcome Steve, Hope you'll be joining us for some of this years events. Quote
Tony B Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Welcome, BUT all 432's are to STAY AWAY from the bike sheds! Quote
