To all experts out there,

I bought a 1943 willys MB jeep with the chassis # 7684397 and the engine # 639660C but not absoultely correct as it's hard to read but i have been told that the important thing is the chassis # the data plate is blank as well.

My question is could anyone tell me what the correct hood # should be ? and secondly how to find out the date of delivery to write it in on the plate.

The chassis number is too high. Can you post a picture of it.

Where are you getting the engine number from? It should be stamped on the block behind the oil filter. The number you posted sounds like a head casting number.

As said above G503 is the best place.
