Degsy Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Citroen Kegresse trucks on rail trolleys Quote
Degsy Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 OK so possibly USA, I seem to remember Garford built some trucks using the Kegresse system. Quote
Richard Farrant Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 If it is a Kegresse conversion, then possibly Burford, Crossley or Morris Commercial......I think the latter one. Quote
snowtracdave Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I agree with Richard - certainly have a Morris look to them . Quote
Stormin Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 I was thinking Crossleys as it's the only others I could think of using that system. Quote
antarmike Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 No, no, no THese were built by a country who bought and tried some Kegresse, then decided they would do their own thing. Their starting point was a licenced built truck, and the tracks were based on a Vickers design.....The inspiration was kegresse, but these aren't Kegresse tracks.... Quote
antarmike Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 (edited) Some components from this tank became the basis for the tracks.... Edited February 17, 2009 by antarmike Quote
