This is a photo I took of the BATLSK Explorer as it was about to leave Kahawa in Kenya for backloading to UK in 1984. I was told it was one of only two still in service, with the other in Belize.

That would be the one that Noddy from the SEME historic vehicle collection used to take out to rallies. I remember having the honour of taking it from Bordon to a steam rally at Petersfield in the mid 90's.

Hi 

Iam new to scammell ownership how do I go about finding any information on our new family member, I only have her ref number? And Althea signage on the side to who owned her as a recovery truck, unfortunately the company do not exist any more, LH Penfold and Son,
