Jack Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Morning folks! Does anyone know where I can get a full scale D-Day map of the invasion beaches? I want to put one up on the wall here in the office. Cheers! Jack. Quote
woa2 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 It was a few years ago, but I saw some repro 'Bigot' packs at the D-Day Museum in Portsmouth that contained some D-Day maps. Otherwise try EvilBay where Maps do get advertised - try "ww2 map france" as a search. Quote
Marmite!! Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Try http://www.nicolsonmaps-online.co.uk/acatalog/D-Day_Maps.html Quote
Jack Posted November 26, 2008 Author Posted November 26, 2008 Thanks Lee but was looking for the 'big' HQ maps - if you know what I mean....?! Quote
Joris Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/historical/dday.html You'll have to print it yourself though Quote
Adrian Barrell Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 As ''full scale'' suggests 1:1, you must have a huge office..... Quote
Grasshopper Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Just had a D-day set framed for a friend of mine. There where 5 maps, and his lounge now looks like a command centre! Quote
