Did a bit of filming with the BBC today using our trenches... can't say too much at the moment but it's due to go out on Armistice Day...

LIVE!!!! they had a Section 5 armourer on site... I got to fire 300 rounds... blanks of course :-D

How did you get into that filming anyway?

 

Well.......I was there to oversee the use of our Trenches at the Secret Nuclear Bunker, the actor that was supposed to do it was too big for the uniform they hired & I was the only one it fitted :coffee:

Bloody great stuff Lee - look just the part and it is always fun to do stuff like that.

 

As you know, there is a room in the club house called the Jammy Git Suite - it is looked after by the Stevens Brothers, reckon you could hang out in there now too:argh:

 

Make sure you give us all the heads up on when it is on........!

My Family at War - BBC Program, part of the 1918-2008: Ninety Years of Remembrance is a BBC campaign to mark the 90th anniversary of Armistice, running in the days leading up to 11 November 1918.

 

My Family at War runs from 3 November, final programme 11 November.

Four-part series taking a selection of well-known faces on a journey in search of their own family war stories.
