Impressive piece of kit that doesn't even have a conventional underlift or rotating recovery boom.

 

I can't help thinking that perhaps it's a little too specialised to have a civilian use - that is without some serious mods.

 

Must admit the tow frame for suspend tows is going backwards thirty years.

The crane is a rotator but it is a crane only not a winching platform as well not like most modern recovery equipment.

Would like to have the money to buy one to chop about and have a play with.

Put this video on not saying its right or wrong. Dont include anything military but i think it shows many things you have to watch out for and to give the guys their due they seem to have covered all the pit falls and they are not using super modern gear

Great video, and some stonking kit, I love the 5 tonner bucket rotator and grab, how nifty, I can see that on any plant mans Christmas wish list.

I had deja vue watching this remembering having to recover a JCB 814 in the dark in a slurry lagoon maybe 15 or 16 years ago unfortunately all before in your pocket technology could record all our mistakes!
