Despite having seen the various YouTube clips, I hadn't realised just how unstable the ground was (it really was a thick liquid rather than a solid) and it was educational to see tracked excavators beiong operated properly under those conditions. Did once ask a Dutch first mate called Heneri on board RORO MV Norstar what the differenced was his reply "Idiot you know a ship can have boat on board a boat cannot have a ship on board" So apart from gleaning ones bigger than the other I gave up trying to understand after that???
