Comma Ts3 25vehicles were evaluated but were not taken into service.Opposed piston 2 stroke engine,could be run multifuel.A regular exhibitor at Kemble.Charringtons fuel oils had some tankers for central heating oil delivery in London very distingtive exhaust note ,noisy.Have w/shop manual somewhere will post pics of engine if i find it,for people not familier with configuration.

I drove a TS3 artic back in the sixties, once was more than enough, scared me s--tless, no engine braking and the brakes failed on the downhill stretch from Gildersome towards Leeds.

What you ment to say was added to the contents of my trousers.

were used in pairs in the odd boat,due to ther free reving nature went very well,but exhaust noise was a problem.:-D

Yep , that exhaust note was somewhat distinctive, never heard any thing like it, before or since.:evil:
