Rick W Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 Snapper's to blame for this.. In 1941 there were a series of exercises to test Britain anti invasion plans and defences, the first of which was called Bumper. It involved 250,000 troops and was designed to see where Britain went wrong at Dunkirk and test AI plans. From what I know it involved British and Canadian forces around East Anglia and London and surroundings. The referee happened to be a certain Mongomery. Has anyone any info, pics, eyewitness accounts on this they could pass on? Ive got a couple of docs and am awaiting more from tha national archives, the IWM has a few bits, but would be interested to see if anyone has any more info. Quote
