AlienFTM Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 In good army tradition every one of them is sporting a porn tache. By the 1980s they were beginning to pass out of favour (maybe because of associations with the Village People?). I only shaved mine off after I had started in my current job so it must have been about 1998-99. Quote
Bazz Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 still had mine in 1997, will try and find picture. Bazz. Quote
Snapper Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 I'm sure you looked more like seventies footballers. It's difficult to put a locale or ID much. Jocks probably, India maybe. Give it time, more people need to see it. MB Quote
ashley Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 The chap with the `tash has afairly distinct arm badge which should narrow it down, i would of thought pre 1900 and can any firearms guys i.d. the rifle?? Ashley Quote
Tony B Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 Could be a Lee Metford. Very thick furniture though. The trigger gaurd looks very small for a Martini action, so probably a bolt action. If it is a number one it must be post 1906. Quote
