earlymb Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 A few more. I think that Horch in the pic with Rommel was restored by Mike Gibb a few years ago and is part of The Weald Foundation's (formerly SDKFZ Foundation) collection? Greetz David Quote
schliesser92 Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I suspect that the first pic was taken during the Warsaw Uprising. The gun behind the half-track could be a 10.5cm leFH18. Quote
AlienFTM Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I suspect that the first pic was taken during the Warsaw Uprising. I agree. the man extreme right looks like a man who was convicted decades later on the evidence of another iconic photo from the uprising. Quote
Morris C8 Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Just thought i would put this photo in, taken on the Eastern Front. The look on the 2nd guys face says it all. Original photo from my Collection. Quote

Pzkpfw-e Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 A few more. Interesting collection there. The Warsaw '43 uprising photo appears to show Jurgen Stroop, who finally met the hangman's rope in March '52. Yep here it is. http://www.deathcamps.org/occupation/stroop/photos42.html Josef Blosche is the other soldier identified, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Bl%C3%B6sche it took until 1969 before he received his just deserts!
