Ici nous sommes encore sur Utah Beach, les marins sur le RF font partie du 2nd Naval Beach Battalion.

Note the markings on the GMC CCKW on the beach June 6th 1944 .in particular the white painted ends of the bumper and the white paint along the edge of the fender and running board likely done for black out conditions in Great Britian before D-Day .

Of course the Photo was taken to show the destruction of the Mulberry Harbor complex .From the Life magazine site .

Found this on the cckw.org site a fantastic movie of airportable CCKW 352 B2 ? unloaded from C47a assembled and driven have a look!! and watch the C47a loaded with fuel drum's almost do a nose over .

So far the only other video information I have found comes from Therealmilitaryflix.com site at the 4:30 mark a WC55 drives away from the camera lots of other WC's and Ambulances to see as well
