L60 Leyland sectioned engine.

Do any of the L60 sectioned Chieftain engine still exist? I wonder how many other marques of teaching aid engines survive?

YES we had one that was powered up so you could see how worked it went to the commercial vehicle museum at LEYLAND LANCS  from BEVERLEY

When I visited the Commercial Vehicle Museum at Leyland I only photographed the Leyland headless wonder the Roots TS4, I can only imagine the exhaust note off that, and the Rover Gas Turbine as fitted in Leyland test vehicles.

John  the L60 was only on long term loan to BEVERLEY  from the commercial vehicle museum so may be in storage or lent else where
