Tasker trailer. Insignia

Hello All,

does anyone recognise the insignia found on the rear mudguard of a Tasker 20ton plant trailer.

I think there are two signs there, possibly the same ones, but, the bottom one was using light blue and the top one  a repaint in royal blue.  The shield is that of the Royal Engineers (no surprises there, given it's a plant trailer, and, I think it is the shield used by 23 Engineer Group, based in Hereford, prior to its disbandment in 1967.  It was the Group which controlled, among others, R Mon RE (M) and some contruction regiments.  

The attached is an example of the badge as worn on Battledress which is currently for sale from Britton's Badges for £25.
