WDCO end float in the mainshaft

Hello everyone,
I'm rebuilding my wdco engine, and I wanted to share with you a subtlety that I haven't seen indicated anywhere else and that I think is important.
I have replaced my outer bearing cage and it is thinner than the cage that contains the rollers. So be careful when you adjust your lateral, check beforehand that the roller cage has a little play between the 2 shims, Otherwise, the thickness of the roller cage needs to be reduced on the lathe. Because when your crankshaft moves from right to left, it will press on the roller cage and that's not good for it and the outer shim.

I hope this helps.

Best regards
