gordonb
I am aware that bridge plates went grey ca. 1977 presumably the same time that green/black cam was introduced. My question is what shade of grey was it, and is there a reasonable approximation to it available in Halfords? Gordon
ruxy
AFAIK - nothing 'mandatory' , just any grey - I would go for Dark Admiralty Grey . I tend to vary with near shades of grey when painting rainwater guttering & down-pipes (just a single coat of gloss every time , a different shade helps avoid holidays ). 10FM68
Closest, and easiest to hand, is grey primer. Matt, of course.
