So, with Dorchester only around an hour away from home we made the trip across to see the convoy come in. A beautiful blue sky and sunshine, the pavements packed in places up to 10 deep with onlookers...

Its the first time we've been and I know its said to be the last but what an amazing event.

A lovely convoy, a good mix of vehicles and especially feeling the ground rumble under the weight and movement of Sherman's passing. My son who's almost 13 has a fascination with tracked vehicles (as well as our Commers!!) and his knowledge surprised me as we wandered up through the parked vehicles. His favourite, a Loyd Carrier, which I have been nagged about since we got home!!

It was lovely being able to chat with friends and also make new ones chatting with owners and enthusiasts many we found out will be joining us at the White Horse Event near Bath in August.
