KevinT
49th Armoured Personnel Carrier RegimentKING JOHN is I think was a Resicast upper hull with a donor lower hull. Tracks are from Dragon, stowage from the spares box. The name is seen a a Kangaroo in IWM film Battle For The Rhineland (pt 1) at around 16.30 minutes. The figures are a mix of Tamiya, Dragon, Bronco, Riich and Gecko. The census I must admit I cannot confirm that it is correct for KING JOHNhttps://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/1060028057TYRANT is from an image kindly sent to me by Bill Miller and seems to show the TYRANTs' demise. I started this over 20 years ago and have only just got around to completion stage. The upper hull and running gear is from Formations when it was Rob Ervin's baby, sorry I took so long to finish it Rob. Lower hull is either Italeri or Tamiya with Formations fittings. Tracks are by Panda, are these still available? Figures and stowage are as above. The Formations kit and Panda tracks are lovely to work with with excellent detail. Enigma
Kangaroos were used for the battle of Den Bosh. A veteran I knew from the 53rd div (East Lancs) was transpoted in one of those. He pointed himself out in a photo.
