sexton Posted May 4, 2022 Share Posted May 4, 2022 Despite valiant efforts by some members to clarify oil requirements, I still can’t figure out what best modern oil would suit the L60 in the above tank. The old girl will only do about 10 miles a year (museum tank days), so I suspect it’s not that critical. It seems OMD 90 is what I need. And I believe that’s a 10W30 high detergent diesel rated multigrade. Is that right? Since we only run these tanks for any length of time in the warmer months, I think we could get away with Shell Rotella T 15W40, which is very available round here. Any comments?
