APOSTOLOS Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 I would like to know, how can I check if the oil pump I have is ok and working. Thank you! Quote
Ron Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 When they are assembled. I put my finger over the relevant intake oil hole, pull the plunger down and then let it go. If it's a good seal, the vacuum will suck it back up some. Oil the plungers first. There's not much to go wrong with them really. Ron 1 Quote
mick gilby Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Hello, Can you help by measuring the overall height of the 3 HW oil pump plus the length of the 2 plungers. I am trying to re-build a 3hw engine and am lacking the correct oil pump ,so have a pre-unit one with an alloy body in good condition, but its too tall to operate properly, hence the request. The size from the machined face with the oil port holes to th top would be a great help. Quote
