Quadman42
Hi, would anyone have copies of the manuals for the above that I could pay for copies as I am in the process of restoring one of these behemoths. Any informational literature would be gratefully appreciated Quadman42
attleej
I don't have any manuals but I, and many others on the forum, do have a lot of experience with this vehicle. Do not hesitate to post any queries and we will try to help you. John
Quadman42
Thanks John, that is superb. I will probably wear the key board out
marvinthemartian
Welcome to the club. I have a fair few emers for these, copying would be a long task. Check out green machine surplus on ebay as Mark has a few listed. Pictures and vehicle info much appreciated.
Quadman42
Thanks both. Do you run 15.00-20 20ply tyres on your Martians as they are getting a bit scarce and I will need 4 !!!. Otherwise it’s TT radials
marvinthemartian
Well, mine hasn't turned a wheel in ages, but is still on 1500's. And quite rightly as you say are getting like rocking horse poo. But they do occasionally turn up.
Quadman42
Hi Simon, I have been reading about your restoration. Superb job you have done so far. Could you confirm you have gone with Deep Bronze Green paint colour as that’s what they were initially steve
marvinthemartian
Hi Steve, yup BS224.
attleej
Dear All, I think that you will find that the correct description is "Deep Bronze Green, colour code 224 to BS381C". Unfortunately it is a colour that does seem to come out differently every time. When I did the Antar the above was what I ordered but each batch of paint was very slightly different. However, they were always the right sort of green which I think is important. John
Quadman42
Thanks to you both for this info. I was impressed with the overall look of Simons project and thought it might be 224 steve
