Yes, we saw that but the lots we like would be expensive to send. We did wonder about a grouo of us getting together and taking a van up there if we won multiple lots.

Is this a good thing or bad thing?

Positive its been saved from scrap but an AirBnB? I suppose as he says the costs to restore and maintain aren't commercially viable.

In an ideal world the aircraft would be fully restored and preserved as original but at least this way it will continue to exist and, as long as it exists then restoration to original remains a possibility, should a future generation appreciate such things.

An old thread but I recall watching huge lots of Military Handbooks in this auction.

I was wondering if anyone has any idea of where they all went? Collectors, dealers or anyone on the forum?

Of course if you make a Beverley into a holiday let, it needs all the facilities, heating lighting and flushing loo etc, plus all those health and safety features.

Unless its a glamping one where the toilet block could be elsewhere
