Chris Hall
https://www.silmid.com/specialties/anti-icing/al39-anti-freeze-205lt-drum-def-stan-68-127-1/ use the defstan number to find a smaller quantity or just use a good quality coolant as AL39 gets used in all MT vehicles regardless of size. Chris Hall
OMD90 OMD90 can be a semi or fully synthetic, severe duty oil intended for use in Diesel engines. It has a 10W30 viscosity grade and must meet or exceed API grade SG/CF-4 or ACEA grade A3/B3.

Diana and Jackie
10w30 for everything that needs oil. some people do use 15W40 in the engine.- all oil sshoul be mineral oil. The cheapest way is a 20 litre drum of ebay for about £45. Do not use semi synthetic or synthetic, especially in the gearbox. Never heard of OLD referred to as Oil Mineral Detergent, it’s always been OMD in the RAF. OX being oil miscellaneous.

TJSB
Robin, what you need is Defstan 01-005 - it came up on the oil equivalent thread. This will tell you the NSN, MOD name and al the specs, including civvy equivalent. It seems you now need to register with the Defstan people and you can find it through google. TJSB
PS, my Cummins B series manual says 15W40 for -10 to +45C, 10W30 for -25 to +20C and 5W30 for -40 to + 20C.
Chris Hall
This is the site I use at work, it’s actually easier to use the internet to get info than it is to use MODNET!!! https://data.gov.uk/data/contracts-finder-archive/download/911191/5c4e3e17-7574-4ce5-94ff-63f578c47c98 The issue with Def Stands is they change regularly. The Def Stan for OMD 90 changed in April this year for example.
