Welcome, thats a very nice Jeep you've got there.

The meeting was at beltring 02. Just walking around the stalls and this fella started talking to my mates kid about his gun(toy). After a little while we noticed a stall with a book about him. We duly bought a copy had it signed and went on our way. It's only afterwards that you realise what incredible things this unasuming man, and many more like him, did.

That pretty much decided the theme for the jeep if I ever could afford one. Plus they're a smart looking bunch

Luckily 2 years later I got lucky and found an affordable jeep. The following year was expensive though!

us wurzel types is getting very outnumbered now,

i do like jeeps but can't afford one sadly.

don't let the others put you off, they may scoff the choccy chips & drink the liquid refreshments but they are a pretty spiffing bunch of chaps.

Thanks for the welcome evryone. Jack, no I don't belong to any re enactment groups. I'll put some more pictures of the restoration of my jeep in the relevent section.
