First Registration - Leyland DAF ex MOD

Hi there I was wondering if anyone from these forums could help me.

I am looking to register a Leyland DAF 4x4 army truck bought from Withams. Could anyone advise on the following

1. Where can I obtain a certificate of conformity? 

2. The vechile might be used for commercial purposes has anyone got experiences of installing digital  tachograph equiptment>

Tacho calibration is a specialist job. Talk to your local dealer they will be able to advise you with up to date information. A 2 year seal can only be fitted by an approved  fitter and dealership. I think I have a s/hand tacho head that I bought and have not used.

You don't need a certificate of conformity so long as you have the blue Cast certificate. 

Just fill in the bare minimum on the V5/55 and DVLA will fill in the rest, that's how I did mine in November.

I did this a few years ago and I now want to register another one but I can’t remember which form to use. I plan to go for special vehicle. 

I remember I needed to send photos. 

Any help much appreciated.
