johnld
I hope to be ready to start painting my pioneer shortly. What shade green would it have been when it was in service? Would it have been matt or satin, and can anyone recommend a paint supplier? Thanks
Scammell4199
Hi, I use http://warpaint.co.uk/ not sure of the exact colour, i can check the RAL number but its olive drab, with i think 15% sheen, which should make it easier to clean without being full gloss. Niels v
The colour and shine of a pioneer depends very much on which period you would like it to represent? http://www.mafva.net/other pages/starmer camo.htm

Lauren Child
Mike Starmer's books (he's the author of that page) are very good as well - he has a series of four with paint chips to colour match. Also check out this one http://www.wwpd.net/2015/09/hiding-in-plain-sight-camouflage-and.html?m=
