john_g_kearney Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Many thanks to Stu, his team, and all those who brought vehicles, weaponry, kit etc. An innovation this year was 'tank rides' - in a Scorpion and an APC. It was a splendid weekend; the weather was great too. (The dust raised by the vehicles was not so great...) A few photos here of British and Soviet armour. John. Quote
andym Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 I counted five Stollys and no less than seven RB44s. And one Flying Pig! Andy Quote
Nic.Clay Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Organising events like this is a thankless task - often too many niggles and not enough recognition for the hours of effort and logistics that goes into running such a complicated show. Many thanks to Stuart and his team - and a big hand to the rarely recognised 'loo' team. Nic Quote
Jimland74 Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Our club, "D Coy" came over from N.I. Was our first time at the show. We were impressed. Everyone was friendly, with a relaxed atmosphere. And the standard of the portaloos was excellent, far better than the toilets at war and peace last year. Quote
