64EK26
Hi I saw this on a restoration blog (sorry I can’t recall the thread). The picture shows some form ‘engine bay pans’. I haven’t seen these on any other restoration blogs. Were these standard?, if so does anyone have any dimensions of them ? Cheers Richard
peter75
yes the plates are original although one of the plates in the picture has been remade without ribs. I am making some tooling up at the moment to press the ribs. just got to find time! I will try to post pictures tomorrow. Peter.
rampant rivet
I have some for my MW but haven't fitted them yet as I'm still fettling things and need the access. Edited April 19, 2017 by rampant rivet
64EK26
Thanks Peter Additional photos and dimensions would be very usefu, I assume it was your restoration I was looking al. As Jeremy says they must restrict access during a re-build. Cheers Richard
peter75
This is a picture of the plates on my OY. Although they look good they have a lot of pin holes and old weld repairs. I plan to make a few sets up to sell to cover the costs of the tooling. I will post some pictures at the weekend. If your not interested If you PM your address and I will and I will send you some paper templates. Peter.
