The grounds have been a very good venue for the NEMVC for many years , would be difficult to replace with a site so good. http://www.nemvc.org.uk/dli/index.html
Toner
As long as the collection is protected. Is there a chance of still using the grounds for the NEMVC ?
ruxy
Next door is the BIG house - DCC "County Hall" , ISTR they also own the Museum & grounds. DCC now wish to evacuate county hall over a 4 year period (I don't think they know where) , county hall to be sold or rented out apparently for business use. Probably part of the same plot , IMHO the whole works would be very attractive to the University as prime locations overlooking town & cathedral..
