Richard Farrant
It did a brilliant display at Combined Ops, Headcorn on Saturday as well. I was told that a person from the Vulcan team with the sales stall at Headcorn had said they thought it was the best display of the Vulcan that they had ever seen. Topdog
Rumour has it that on the last flight they might do a full roll. The aircraft will do it but is not cleared.

It was on the start of a full roll a couple of times at Headcorn, definitely over the 90 degrees
matchlesswdg3
The display at Headcorn was a real blast........literally. I had to have the hair on the back of my neck surgically removed as I have not been able to button up my collar since then!

guykay
It would be fantastic to see the Vulcan do that, but I guess that's unlikely in light of the recent events at Shoreham. Latest is that the CAA are to rush in new regs re operation of vintage jets in displays. I fear this may herald the end of any jet displays in this country, and also a further tightening of vintage aircraft display regs in general. matchlesswdg3
New regulations have indeed been rushed in for vintage jets. As usual, this in spite of the fact that for anyone attending or driving past an air show, the risk of dying from a car crash is hugely higher. Alas, the media's joyful feeding frenzy on a spectacular event drives politicians into being seen to do something. No money for making roads safer......:-(
VULCANFREAK
CAA have declared that XH558`s display is not aerobatic and can continue with existing routine.
Tony B
Don't balme the CAA. As for XH558, just a fly past is awesome!
