Graham
I own an incomplete Smith & Wesson .38/200 BSR early 1942 (pre- Victory) revolver. Will some kind owner of a similar model kindly give me the dimensions of the main spring including its thickness. I have bought a few pieces of spring steel and hope to make my own. I also need a 'cylinder lock' if some one has to sell ( I would also be interested in buying an original spring). Thank you.
Chris Hall
Isn't the Victory on the same frame as the M&P? Which is the same as the later designation Model 10 and K frame. I'll keep my eyes open.
Stanleyrf89
You could try http://www.marstar.ca they hold spares and will ship non FAC items to the UK, also try Helston Gunsmiths, although the price will be a little higher. Graham
Thank you both for your help. I have contacted Marstar and await their reply, but I do note that their website shows these items out of stock. I have asked Helston but they do not have any of these parts. Graham
Just to update, I have received the springs, very expensive postage, fitted it and all working now. Just need cylinder stop, drawn a blank so far.
Enfield1940
Just need cylinder stop, drawn a blank so far. Their website currently appears to be ill, but Numrich has them listed and they'll ship out of the US: https://www.gunpartscorp.com/Products/375280B.htm
