jdmcm
Hi Guys, I am asking for worldwide help from my military vehicle collector friends and family to help me locate a M1917 6 ton tank or Renault Ft-17 or parts, or pieces, reproduction parts or piles of 97 year old scrap metal. Somehow I have been bitten by the WW1 bug and feel I want, no must...find one of these little beasts...I know why don't I start with something easy like the meaning of life instead?...well for me that is tanks, so any help is as always greatly appreciated, might even be a small reward involved! Oh and Yes I have already bent Hayes Otoupalik's ear on the subject! Thank You John Edited January 17, 2014 by jdmcm
the_shadock
you could still try to unearth an empty FT hull from the Maginot Line, then you will have to find a turret, engine, gearbox, all internal equiments and to refabricate the running gear.. Pzkpfw-e
FT http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_FT-17.pdf Missed your chance with the ones in Afghanistan (Except possibly one, apply to your local branch of The Taliban to negotiate, Infidel) With appropriate bribes, doubtless the one in Mali could be yours. A few wrecks in Norway & Poland & The Weald Foundation's restoring a couple, they might be good for leads on parts they don't need themselves. http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_French_Tank_Turrets.pdf Turrets. A few lying around in the wild. 6 Tonners http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_6ton_M1917.pdf I reckon you can forget these, unless you're a millionaire (Real one, with £s, not $s!) You'll probably find a bad crack habit's cheaper than this!
