Hello Everyone

 

I own a 1942 Jeep. I live in Suffolk near Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridge and Newmarket. I am driving down to Portsmouth during the afternoon/evening of Friday 30th May as I plan to catch a ferry to Caen in Normandy the next morning. I was looking at accommodation and I noticed that everything appears to be getting booked out quickly so I've booked my hotel and ferry crossing now rather than wait until I found a group.

 

I am a first timer and wondered if anyone would perhaps like to meet me at Duxford and drive down in convoy to Portsmouth. I return during the afternoon of Sunday 8th June 2014.

Hi there, I think you will find plenty of people to travel with as a lot of the MVT tour will be heading to Portsmouth at the same time, us included, as yet we are unsure of exact travel times though. Have you tried contacting your local MVT group ? They will almost certainly have members going to the 70th.
