question Landrover Lightweight Insurance

So im looking to by a retired lightweight, but who on earth would insure one ? I have been round the houses with it and most insurers assume its a Landrover series 3 88 (which i suppose it kinda is) but when i specify its a lightweight they all run a mile. I know some of you chaps have them, who do you use ?

Try Footman James but there are several companies who insure military vehicles.

Adrian Flux seem to know about older Landrovers.

Just to give a balance, I am with Premium Choice & had no difficulties in communicating the differing specifications of the vehicles with them. The MV policy itself is with KGM & includes the £5 million liability required at most shows nowadays.

 

So three to choose from now :-D
