Billruston
I'm on disk 4, enjoying it!, tanks looked great and sounded well
Adrian Barrell
Richard is correct, (as usual!) one Centaur, one Cromwell (Charioteer convert) and the rest of the allied armour were Grizzlies.

AlienFTM
It's been a long time since I watched so correct me if I am wrong, but my memory tells me that there were Cromwells on 432 chassis (along with StuG and maybe something else). Adrian Barrell
Nope, Stugs on 432 chassis and a Jagdpanther on a T55. The British tanks were the real thing!
shaun
The man responsible for bring all the vehicles together on B of B is an old friend of mine Alan Tomkins, he was the Art Director on that (as well as Star Wars and Saving Private Ryan) Alan was at the War and Peace show this year with us this year, And is a stornch supporter of the military vehicle world, he was telling me stories of getting all the armour together for the programme , one of the Cromwells and one of the Sherman's belonged to Denis Roberts. Billruston
Love it, all the scenes with the armour we're well layed, not so much the German armour but I couldent imagine trying to get all together etc, would of been nice for more British & American armour tho! Enigma
When on Ginkel Heath in 1999? leaflets were handed out for people to register vehicles to be used in the upcoming BOB. I did it and later got a letter signed by Tomkins appologising the fact they wouldn't film in the Netherlands. Still have the leaflet and letter with BOB letterhead .
