downforce
Hi Tony I have an RB44 Im building into a overland truck (but really not making much progress). I looked at the comms body but it seemed too small - particularly with the wheelarches etc. I'd be interested in hearing how you get on DF
downforce
Forgot to say - plan is supposed to be driving through Africa so no rush - given the current state of North Africa !!
SteveJ
Hi Ive got an RB44 GS version. The one you are looking at is probably an FFR. The four 12 volt batteries in the bin on the left hand side are for powering the radios etc they are wired to provide 24V. The two batteries in the tray in the bin on the right hand side Forward are for the truck electrics. There should be a big master switch mounted somewhere also. The publication you need that would be helpful is the operating information book 2320-E-200-201 which has tons of good info. :-)
