aikmanmosquito
There is a lowlife advertising a Willys Jeep on ebay for £3900!!! This is a total scam, as I was nearly taken in by it in August, except he wanted more for the Jeep. It turns out the Jeep isn't even his, and was sold by someone else months ago, this person has just kidnapped the pictures!! I've contacted ebay twice, but so far they've done nothing about it (probably they take a cut from this guys earnings) Anyway beware. The seller states that he lives abroad and Jeep is based in Scotland! states that it was his brothers who died! usual nonsense!! And insists money must be paid into paypal, then Jeep will be delivered!!!!
Nick Johns
There are now three seperate threads about the same subject with a lot of duplication of scam Jeep adverts on Ebay, can mods combine them all please Edited December 3, 2013 by Nick Johns
Toner
This has happened to me a couple of times so far. Some 'person' takes a copy of my ferret from the web (Usually the same pic as my avatar) and places it in an advert claiming it is in (insert country of your choice) and is road ready etc. If I find it, I let the website know but often they don't seem to care.
