sirhc
Paul, These are MCT (Milan Compact Turret) vehicles, they will have come from BATUS where they were used as OPFOR vehicles. Chris
robin craig
Yep, as if there is any need, Chris as usual is correct. R
Grasshopper
Our Spartan is an MCT variant; we've been looking for a turret for years! If anybody has an opportunity to get any pictures of the interiors, I'd be grateful.
mill comms
I was at Withams today, more of these MCT variants were ariving on low loader. I think they are going in the next tender, about 20 of them so far lined up in the sales area. They are all non-runners, all have drivers instrument board removed (but in back of vehicle)??? The turrets are complete as far as I can see, with optical sight and joystick controlls etc. So far they have about 80 diesel cvrt on site with another 450 to be delivered.;-)
Grasshopper
Thanks for the update! I'm hoping that some of them will be stripped and the parts auctioned or just sent for scrap (I have a contact and am keeping a days leave "just in case"). I don't need another CVRT cluttering up the yard as we've managed to (finally!) cull the collection down to 2 of them. Realistically if they are not sold as a job lot, that is more vehicles than I think the collectors market could afford unless the prices are very low (which I doubt).
