Ron
Yes but I wonder if it's at all military? Ron
Pete Ashby
The same thought crossed my mind Ron, however I think a number were impressed mostly to the RAF, I've seen at least one listed in release sale data from the big surplus sales at Mount Farm in the late 40's. mcspool
Woodies look great, but AFAIK these were not built on military contracts. I think this is not implied by the seller, BTW. No doubt these type of vehicles were impressed in military service during WW2, as were many civilian cars during those days. H.
RAFMT
I'm sure i've got a photo somewhere with an RAF one in the background.
Alex van de Wetering
no price, expensive I suspect Nor a year of manufacture or a pic of the front, but we all want to know more :-D Alex
woa2
The advert says it's a Ford Pilot, which makes it post-war (late 1940s). I know some Ford Pilot Woodies were produced, as I have seen at least one in the Paradise collection of John Mould. I have never come across a Military contract for Ford Pilots.
