These pictures are from my Grandfather in laws album and are taken in Shanghai in the 1930's. He served in the RASC (Reme) up until after the war and served in the Middle East including Tobruk.

 

I can supply high resolution pictures if anybody is interested, just let me know your Email. Not the most exciting of pictures but previously unpublished.

Thanks. Those are very interesting. Not sure what the third one down is. Not a Thornycroft. The chassis rails have the channel facing outwards so could be a White or a Halley or something else altogether. Anyway. Thanks for posting and PM sent.

Have had a look at the high res photo. Thanks. The fairly unique-looking sub-frame suggests to me it is a Maudslay. Is it identical to the one being restored at the Coventry Transport Museum?
