Great Britain had had 496 between 1944 and 1945, used for the most part in Italy. Instead the main user (excluding the U.S. Army) were the forces of Free France, with as many as 689 vehicles. Duffy Posted August 12, 2013 Share Posted August 12, 2013 The Canadians ended up with four or five in Belgium and Holland. The story goes that the RCD's wanted Staghounds but there were none to be had....so they took several M8's. There are two pics available showing this.
