Willyslancs
This is a photograph showing DS&O Rural Electric Cooperative's employees standing by a truck at the warehouse in Solomon, Kansas. The people in the photograph are (left to right) Roy Duck, Jake Elmore, Walt Moyer, Marv Eisenhauer, and Andy Anderson. DS&O Electric Cooperative was established during the Great Depression as part of the federal recovery effort to bring the advantages and economic stimulus of electric power to rural Kansas. In 1991, Smoky Valley Electric Cooperative in Lindsborg, Kansas, merged with DS&O, adding to the Cooperative's coverage area and member base. DS&O Rural Electrical Cooperative's office is located in Solomon, Kansas. It was named DS&O because members were from Dickinson, Saline, and Ottawa counties. HWade
N.O.S. Interesting pics of those closed cab shop vans, they dont have any side mirrows fitted no sign of a bracket either. Howard
N.O.S.
Howard, that is Willyslancs's photo, but looks like it might be taken somewhere in USA - note the odd numbers on the bumpers - might explain lack of passenger mirror? Also - was a passenger mirror fitted originally???
HWade
Hi N.O.S I could not see any sign of drivers side mirror either. Howard
Degsy
The cargo trucks were only fitted with a driver's side mirror which shows up clearly in Bart's pics but the pic he uses of the shop van has no mirrors fitted at all:???

Gordon_M
'tis a plain 7100 series Chevrolet, not a Pole Setter or Earth Augur
