Degsy
This is one of the many village shows in North Wales which are very well supported locally but also attract a large no of competitors and visitors from all over the country especially in the horse classes. There is a very large old tractor entry, this year about 150 tractors were on show but the highlight was the beautifully restored Waterloo Boy owned by a local farmer and collector. For those of you not into vintage tractors the Waterloo Boy was the forerunner of what is now John Deere and value wise it would be well into six figures! There was a good turnout of classic cars and the three military vehicles which myself and two friends displayed were placed in front of the classic cars and were the first things to be seen by the public as they entered the showground, as a consequence of this the Champ, Jeep and Weasel were a great draw and we were overwhelmed with crowds all day and also received numerous requests to visit lots of other events. Apologies for lack of pics but at the moment the new computer and new camera are not talking to each other. :computerrage: How I hate Windows 8 !!!!!
