Great War truck
I have known of the existence of a Leyland at Duxford for years, but have never seen a picture of it. Steve turned this one up a few days ago: Where abouts on the site is it now? The museum was quite interested in WW1 stuff some years ago but seems to have lost their enthusiasm. A real shame when they have such a nice original body to go on it. The lorry to the left is Richards FWD which now resides in the land warfare hall. Have any of the Duxford people seen this Leyland? Lauren Child
It's not something I've spotted around the place, but there is a lot of storage behind the scenes. There is still a lot of interest on WW1. At the moment there's a lot of concentration on the changes in London which is to re-open in 2014 for the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. With that going on, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was part of the plans.
Caddy
That looks like it was in the IWM's workshop yard, so would have thought it was either there to be restored or coming in....
