Northern Military Expo Sunday 28th April 2013

Recommended Posts

Thank you once again to everyone who came to the November show, the turn out was great in spite the cold weather!

Those who don't know, the Northern Military Expo (don't start with the Northern we know but it's too far down the line now!) is held twice a year at Newark Showground, NG24 2NY. We are a Militaria & Vehicle based show but also encorporate Vintange Clothing, living history displays and vehicle displays. We have traders selling Militaria, Uniforms, Books, Badges, Medals, Guns, Vehicle Parts, Retro/Vintage Clothing, Manuals, Surplus Kit and much more.

We will be again holding our pre-season show, this year on Sunday 28th April 2013, it will again be held in the Lady Eastwood Pavillion, at the usual Newark Showground. The car parking facility and car park entrance is the same as the November show and admission will be £5 per person as usual.

Over half the trade stands have been booked to date, as well as the Mid-Lincolnshire MVT confirmed as bringing a selection of vehicles to display and the guys from ACE Mobile LHG coming along with their Reece landrover display.

Any other re-enactment groups wanting to book in please contact me directly to arrange this either by PM or by emailing steph@northernmilitaryexpo.co.uk, however be aware the amount of space we ave available to do this maybe limited so will be on a first come first serve basis.

We have already done our postal mail-outs to traders and will be emailing and updating as much as we can in advance of the show, so anyone wanting more information join the mailing list via the website http://www.nmexpo.co.uk or follow us (me) on twitter for on-going updates @NM_Expo or hit the Like button on our Facebook page!

Mark will be as usual making his way to Stoneleigh, so you can catch up with him on the Jeep Promotions stand, or Tony (Axholme Signs) will be going along as a purchaser (for a change).

That is all for now but we will update trader details and things a bit nearer the show date.

Less than 2 months to go to the next show! There are only a few stands left for those who haven't booked in already... We're in the Lady Eastwood building as per last year's April show and will have a vehicle line up outside, living history display and mini tank rides all before you get in to the trade hall and see the fantastic deals the traders have on offer!

There is still time to book one of the few reamining stands visit the website www.nmexpo.co.uk don't forget you can follow us on twitter or like us on facebook too for updates about the show and up coming events we are attending.

With only a couple of weeks to go we have run out of space in doors again and traders are spilling out in front of the building again so if you still haven't booked your place and want to come along please call us on 01302 739000 and speak to Mark to see where he can accomodate you.

As well as the out-door traders don't forget we have the guys from the Mid-Lincs MVT bringing along a number of military vehicles as well as the mini-tank rides!

Doors will open 9am on the Sunday for the public but we will be there all day Saturday for those traders who want to setup the day before.

As always we are at Newark Showground (Don't... we know it's not that Northern!) and as last April we are in the Lady Eastwood Pavillion but the car parking is the same as always come in through the blue gate (second right off the round about or next gate on left after main showground entrance). There is allocation for disabled parking as usual so make yourselves known to the marshall and he will tell you where to park.

Tony and myself will be at the Yorkshire MVT Crank Up in York this weekend if you need any information or have any questions.

As always we have some fantastic (and yet again NEW) traders booked in and we have put an order in for the sunshine!

Those traders coming on Saturday to setup please read all details in your packs regarding which gate to enter through etc

Fingers crossed everyone that we get this same weather next weekend (or better!)
