It appears to have lost the three-pointed star from its radiator cap, nevertheless I am pretty certain that the car is the ubiquitous Mercedes 170V.

Probably the most famous picture showing a captured Axis vehicle has to be the one of the victory parade in Tripoli in '43. The lead vehicle is CinC 8th Army's Humber Snipe, from which the Prime Minister is inspecting troops, and the vehicle immediately following is a Horch.

After some research I reckon it's a Mercedes 290 W18 D 1934-1937. This one looks surprisingly similar, even the semaphore indicators are the same! Still in RAF blue. For sale at 249,000 Euros.
